The mission of the Coalition is to empower Bamberg County residents to improve their health and achieve economic stability by connecting them to education and resources that create a better quality of life.

The vision of the Coalition is the creation of an inter-organizational collaboration which supports the health of all community residents.

State Priorities:

  • Improve outdoor environments in early care and education
  • Prioritize physical activity in schools
  • Promote trail connectivity
  • Expand awareness of WIC
  • Increase senior enrollment in SNAP
  • Increase access to healthy food

We welcome new members who are passionate about improving the health and well-being of our community. Monthly meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 2:00 PM
